Swim Families:

We are one step closer to hosting our meet this weekend and are very appreciative for all of the donations and filled jobs for the meet.  

Please bring your donations to the elementary school cafeteria this Friday from 3:30 to 5:30. There is quite a bit of set up that needs to be done prior to Saturday.  There will be a sign off sheet, please make sure you check yourself off. 

 Saturday, we ask that folks come between 7:00 and 7:15 to make sure the morning session swimmers are in the pool, warming up by 7:30. There will be some amount of set up that will need to be completed, especially in the concession area.  Swimmers will be warming up until 8:00. Since there is quite a bit of time between warm up and the start of the meet. It would be a good idea for swimmers to warm up in another suit and change into their team suit.  They will stay warmer. 

We have quite a few first-time swimmers at this meet. Swimmers will be set up in the fieldhouse. Each time has a sitting area so look for the sign.  Bring blankets and/or chairs for swimmers to lounge on. We will be staging the morning session, and I know most parents are working the meet.  We use the scoreboard in the fieldhouse to notify swimmers when to head to the staging area, so the swimmers do need to stay in the fieldhouse. I will have a couple of older swimmers in the gym to help make sure your swimmer gets to the staging area. Any extra adult help in the gym would be appreciated. 

Our athletic director and custodial staff ask there be NO food or drink in the gym.  It damages the floor, if spilled. 

Folks bringing raffle baskets, please drop them off covered with cellophane. I will be reaching out to folks to find out what they are bringing as I have to make signs for the table. 

The afternoon session will start APPROXIMATELY at 1:00 (1 hour after the morning session ends. Afternoon warmups with start immediately following the completion of the morning session.  Meets can be a bit unpredictable, they can run fast, and they can run slow, if we have any technical issues. Meet officials will not be waiting until 1:00 to start that afternoon session, if the am session runs fast.  It would be best if the afternoon swimmers arrive early to avoid any delays starting that afternoon session.
