Swim Families:

I know summer swim has just begun, but I have information on a meet that will be taking place in Merrill on June 24th. 

Merrill NLAC Summer Splash will take place at the outdoor pool at the Bierman Aquatic Center.  This meet starts and 9:00 am and will have swimmers ages 9-12 in the am session and 8 and under with 13 and up in the afternoon session. I do not have information yet on when the afternoon session starts. Medals will be awarded at this meet. Please see attached documents for additional information. 

The following fees will be charged by Merrill:

1. 15 dollar sur-charge per swimmer 

2. 5.00 per individual event per swimmer (max of 4)

3. 12.00 per relay 

Each family will need to pay the surcharge of 15 dollars and the 5.00 per entry per event. BECAUSE of the fees, when you log onto Swimtopia and sign up your swimmer,  there is a note section for coaches, you will need to let Kelly know how many individual events you would like your swimmer to participate in. Checks should be made out to TSC and dropped in the drop box by 6/12/23.  The club will be writing one check to Merrill. 

THE CLUB WILL PAY ANY AND ALL RELAY FEES.

This meet is completely optional.  Merrill will be hosting another short meet in July that does not have as many fees involved. More information will be provided at a later date.

If you are interested in signing up your swimmer for this initial meet, please log into Swimtopia and look for the "meets and events" tab. Then click on the green "Meet Entry" tab. Your swimmer's name will show and you will click "attend this meet". Then go to the "Notes section" and write how many events you would like your swimmer to be in. Most of our new swimmers will be in one, since they would not know enough strokes to legally swim more than that. If you are unsure what your swimmer can swim, just indicate how many  individual events you would be willing to pay for.  For our experienced swimmers, you can pick up to 4. Coach Kelly will pick the actual events for your swimmer.
