Tomahawk Swim Club Inc

Hello and thank you for your interest in the Tomahawk Summer Swim Club 2026. Below are the dates and times of practices. Please note that this is NOT swim lessons or open swim. Your child will be swimming laps and working on stroke improvements.  Summer swim club will be held three days per week, on every TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, evenings and FRIDAY mornings beginning May 26th. The goal was to try to find times that could accommodate at least some of everyone's other extracurricular activity schedules in addition to allowing them to get into the pool.

-Tuesdays and Wednesdays practices will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. On Fridays, practices will be from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. Practices will conclude at 7 p.m. and 9 a.m. respectively for our 10 and under swimmers. There will be NO practice on Friday, May 29th and all swimmers will be dismissed at 9 a.m. on Friday June 12th. THERE WILL BE NO PRACTICE THE WEEK OF JULY 4th.  Please see the Swimtopia calendar for up to date practice schedules.

-There will be opportunities for swimmers to attend and compete in summer meets if desired. These are NOT required and will incur additional charges. There will be no meets held in Merrill this summer.

-Please remember in addition to our practice times there will also be ongoing open swim and lap times that are available for our swimmers to utilize as well if they aren't able to make a structured practice and there are "pick a practice" available to them or one of our coaches would be happy to put together something for them if needed.

The goal of the Tomahawk Swim Club is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability.

All of our coaches, as members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.

We are a non profit club, that is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.
