2026-2027 TSC Registration

The goal of the Tomahawk Swim Club is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability. This is a competitive swimming club; NOT swim lessons or open swim. TSC takes pride in teaching each child the proper stroke techniques to be able to compete against others in the same age bracket. TSC is an IM-based team, which means we emphasize development in all four competitive strokes: butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke and freestyle. While swimmers naturally develop strengths and favorite events, we want our swimmers to become well-rounded athletes. We encourage our swimmers to participate in swim meets, however meet participation is NOT required. We place a strong emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, positive attitudes, and FUN!  We want swimmers to develop confidence, resilience, independence and a lifelong enjoyment of the sport.

Our coaches, as members of the USA Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time. We are a non-profit organization ran by its elected Board of Directors which meets monthly during the regular club season. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities!

Volunteering and Fundraising are required as part of our Team Support Policy and are summed up below.  Fees equal up to $400 if not fulfilled. These fees are conditional at the time of registration and will be released once the duty is fulfilled.

1. One adult representative from each family is required to work a morning and afternoon shift at each day of home meets regardless of swimmer participation in these meets. This year we are hosting one regular season meet at home on December 12, 2026. This represents $100 of the fee ($100 per meet). Many of the positions are requirements of CWSC and we must have volunteers to host a home meet and to make it successful.

2. Donations of food/raffle item is a requirement from each family for each home meet. This represents $50 of the fee ($50/meet).

3. Fundraising is mandatory to keep registrations fees low. This represents $250 of the fee.
